itelbpo Opens Fourth Call Centre

January 10, 2017
Jamaica Observer | January 10, 2017

Itelbpo Smart Solutions (formerly Island Outsourcers) says it has opened its fourth site in Jamaica in the Montego Bay Free Zone.  Company Chairman & CEO Yoni Epstein indicates that the 10,000 sq ft site — completed in November 2016 — currently houses its first client, which offers medical billing support services. The occupant is the company’s third client from the health industry. Itelbpo has three other sites in Kingston and Montego Bay, and another in the Bahamas. The firm currently employs 780 people across all its locations. Epstein said the addition of a new site was in keeping with the company’s growth strategy to move from a medium-sized to a large BPO provider by the end of 2017. He did not share the investment cost. But, based on the new site, Epstein said it will increase its workforce to 900 people by the end of February with the addition of the new client and facility. The company chairman said Itelbpo intends to grow the existing complement to 1,500 employees by the end of 2017. The business process outsourcing company employs over 22,000 individuals and generates revenues in excess of US$400m in Jamaica. Epstein points out that Itelbpo Smart is Jamaica’s largest locally operated employer in the BPO industry. The company offers an integrated suite of business process outsourcing (BPO) operations, including inbound and outbound customer engagement, sales, online booking services and quality assurance services.
